Teaching Personnel are helping recruit for a popular four form entry Junior School with 480 children on role. It is set in spacious, attractive grounds and situated on the outskirts of Ashford. They have a friendly, caring ethos, have high expectations for pupil outcomes and are committed to encouraging every child to have high aspiration for their future. They also work collaboratively with other Ashford schools and have close links with the local church. The school is well-resourced with excellent library, ICT and sporting facilities and offer extended hours provision through a Breakfast Club and After School Club. Their pupils are well-behaved, eager to learn and a credit to the school.
The school benefits from easy access to major road networks including the A20 and M20 as well as good public transport connections. Ashford International Station is just a 10 minute taxi ride away.
The school are currently seeking to appoint a Year 4 teacher in Ashford Kent. This lovely school are looking to appoint a strong Year 4 teacher to start at Easter on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
- The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Effectively teach and encourage a Year 4 Class
- Assist in developing schemes of work, resources and teaching strategies.
- Assess and mark work, monitor pupils' progression and raise attainment levels.
- Deliver engaging and fun lessons, which inspire pupils to challenge their own learning.
- Employ the highest standard of teaching in the classroom.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents.
You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs will be considered)
- Experience in teaching KS2
