Year 4 Teacher Required in a Catholic School in Knowsley

  • Rates between £80 - £120 per day, depending on experience

Due to unforeseen circumstances and a restructuring in their Key Stage 2 department, our client school have a need for a Year 4 teacher on a long term supply basis.

The school is located in Kirkby and has a diverse catchment area from the surrounding Knowsley area. The school is a Catholic school and is a vibrant and welcoming environment. The school is rated as ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted, however with the help of a new Senior Leadership Team, they are taking steps in the right direction.

Leaders and governors accurately identify weaker areas and are improving pupils’ standards where they have been below the national average. However due to the Headteacher’s new vision and this being shared by all staff the school has managed to raise attainment in all year groups.

The school are looking for Year 4 Teacher, who has relevant experience working in Key Stage 2. The department are looking for a strong teacher who will show commitment to the role and help progress attainment levels in Numeracy, Literacy and Reading.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
