Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Middleton, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop both academically and personally. You will play a vital role in supporting learners through a key stage of their educational journey, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment data to inform teaching and learning.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to deliver excellent educational outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Participate fully in professional development opportunities and staff training.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and motivated teacher who is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Confidence using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusivity, safeguarding, and providing the best possible outcomes for every child.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant Key Stage 2 placement experience are warmly encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
