The Role
As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, implementing strategies to help all learners achieve their full potential.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Foster independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
- Play an active role in the wider school community and contribute to enrichment opportunities.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Be passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing.
- Possess excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.
