Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Openshaw, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September.

The Role

As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2, helping them build confidence, independence, and a passion for learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and support achievement.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community and taking part in ongoing professional development opportunities.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally within Lower KS2.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive learning behaviours.
• The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
