Year 4 Teacher (Full-Time)

Salford | September Start | ⏰ Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils throughout their Key Stage 2 journey, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and attainment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and effective teaching strategies
  • Contribute to the wider school community and engage in professional development opportunities

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Be skilled at adapting lessons to support a range of learning abilities
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be a collaborative and proactive member of staff
  • Be confident incorporating technology into teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
