Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position starting in October.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join a supportive team and make a positive impact during an important stage of pupils' educational development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning while maintaining high standards of teaching and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and Year 4 expectations.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support or challenge.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to share best practice and contribute to school improvement.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school and ongoing professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Be confident adapting lessons to support a wide range of abilities and learning needs.
  • Have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a proactive and collaborative member of staff.
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and raising pupil achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
