Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Bolton area, who are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from December. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact across the KS2 curriculum.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for the Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. The ideal teacher will be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum, able to foster a positive classroom environment, and passionate about helping pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
• Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
• Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
• Work closely with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils
