Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Middleton, seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from October 2026.

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable pupils to thrive both academically and personally. You will play a key role in supporting learners during an important stage of their primary education, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching and raise attainment.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can succeed.
• Build strong and effective relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to secure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through school events, enrichment activities, and extracurricular opportunities.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

About You

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent classroom practice.
• Effective behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
