The Opportunity
As the successful Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and engage pupils throughout Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in helping children achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere where all pupils can thrive
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote outstanding outcomes
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and engage in professional development opportunities
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is desirable but not essential)
- Be a confident and reflective practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
- Have the ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Be confident using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be committed to providing an inclusive, high-quality education for every child
ECTs with relevant Key Stage 2 placement experience are encouraged to apply.
