Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Middleton to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position starting in November 2026.

The Role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils to achieve their academic potential while developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning. You will play a key role in helping pupils navigate an important stage of their Key Stage 2 journey within a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment data effectively to inform planning and raise attainment.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
- Support pupils' personal, social, and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, school events, and extracurricular opportunities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
About You
We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher who is dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
- Effective behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Confidence in using technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
