Start Date: November 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher for a full-time role starting in November 2026.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Working alongside an experienced and collaborative staff team, you will play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum and Year 4 objectives.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform future planning and intervention.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, attainment, and progress.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with year group partners and wider school staff to share best practice.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a proactive and supportive member of the school community.
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
