Join Our Team as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant!

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our Year 3 students achieve academic success and personal growth.

Position: Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Hyde

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 3 students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning or development.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
  • Support students during independent and group activities, encouraging active participation and positive behavior.
  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary school-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training in education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
