Dedicated Year 2 Teacher required in Bradford - September 2018

- Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teacher. Opportunities and key skills courses run all year round for candidates to name a few; Accountability Measures: Floor Standards and Progress 8, EAL & Differentiation, Social Justice and Disadvantage in the Classroom, Mental Health and Mindfulness and SEN - ADHD/Dyslexia/Autism.
This particular school who are going through many changes and improvements are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can help raise pupil attainment in all core subjects within the new Year 2 curriculum in order to improve assessment and SATs results next year. The schools are looking for a new teachers who have recent experience in KS1 and someone who is keen to work with the school in running new initiatives to help pupils progress to their maximum potential. This may involve delivering other Interventions such as; Literacy, Numeracy and Behaviour.
A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher to start as soon as possible in the Autumn term to fill a long-term position which may lead to a permanent contract.
You must:
- Be available school hours and for a long-term work
- Have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
- Be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
- Be open to trial days and providing interventions for the school to improve and increase their pupil attainment and engagement levels
- Show responsibility for their own learning as well as personal and professional development through experience, qualifications and training
- Be able to work as a team and individually
- Have an up-to-date CV and a 6 year career history
