Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced EYFS Teacher for a long term/permanent role, the role will be to start after Easter at a local School in Rochdale.
This is larger than average Primary School with over 300 pupils on roll; the School have a Nursery provision and 2 Reception classes. They have a large majority of pupils from ethnic minority backgrounds and you will need to have experience teaching children for whom English is a second language.
Working specifically within the Early Years Unit, you will be expected to have recent Early Years teaching experience and be fully aware of the changes to the curriculum over the past few years. The curriculum covers children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development and you will need to be proficient with E-profiling.
You will be working alongside a dedicated team and will be at the forefront of child development and Early Years Profiling. They are looking for a team player who can use their own initiative and hit the ground running. You will need to be enthusiastic, be able to take on new initiatives and be able to move children forward. You will be joining a 'Good to Outstanding' EYFS department and would be expected to interact with parents regularly so the ability to build relationships and communicate well is will be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for any qualified teachers looking to secure their next role. You will be working with the parallel class teacher team planning within your PPA time.
