- Start after February half term, work for 1.5 terms.
Teaching Personnel are currently working exclusively with an Independent school in the Blackpool and Fylde area, in order to shortlist and appoint a Year 1 teacher to start after the February half term. The Head of School has commented that she would like a Primary practitioner who can work collectively with the children, their parents and the staff in school to ensure they receive the best opportunity to excel academically and socially. There is a strong emphasis on developing children’s confidence and the ability to socialise and excel at non-academic areas of the Curriculum. With this, the school are keen to appoint a teacher who has the right personality to fit with the strong school ethos.
The role will be to start after the February half term, on a full time basis. The expectation is that the role will continue until the end of the Summer term. The applying teachers must hold qualified teacher status and have experience of working in a KS1 department. The role is easy to commute to, the M55 is direct to the school from areas such as Lancaster and Preston. There are also other means of transport to reach the school.
