A school in the heart of the bustling town of Blackburn, have approached Teaching Personnel in order to recruit a strong and experienced KS1 teacher, who can come into school after the Easter holidays and make an impact in class. The role will be to start after the April holidays, five days a week and will continue for the duration of the year. The Head teacher is keen to appoint a KS1 practitioner who has recently worked in either Year 1 or 2 and someone who can hit the ground running in May, June and July. The school is smaller than National Average and has a higher proportion of children with Special Educational Needs and Additional Language Needs.
The Head teacher in school has mentioned that she would like ‘a committed practitioner who can join the team and become part of the family’ they will be ‘supported by the senior leaders and School Governors to ensure that the Curriculum can be delivered effectively and have a positive impact on the children’s learning’.
The behaviour in school is GOOD according to a recent Ofsted Inspection and the standards in Teaching and Learning is consistently GOOD. The Head teacher is keen to continue improving standards and work with the staff to ensure the children keep making GOOD and OUTSTANDING progress.
