A Primary school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher to start as soon as possible in a mixed 1/2 class (3 days per week). The upcoming position for a long-term role may potentially lead to a permanent placement granting the candidate is the right fit for the school. This is a Year 1/2 teaching role and teachers applying for this role must be Fully Qualified and KS1 experience with KS1 SATs experience (minimum of 1 year teaching experience).
Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted 2019, this school lies within the LS11 area of Leeds. This school is looking for enthusiastic and motivated teachers who can help raise pupil attainment in all core subjects across the KS1 curriculum. The friendly and supportive primary staff are looking to welcome a new teacher into their family and are interested in running new initiatives to help pupils progress to their maximum potential perhaps through both English and Maths Interventions.
Travelling to the school is just a 10 minute drive from the city centre and has good public transport links including bus and train travel.
Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teacher. Opportunities and key skills courses run all year round for candidates to name a few; Literacy and Mathematical Development across the Curriculum, Planning and questioning for progression, Early Reading and Phonics and Effective Behaviour management!

- Candidates must be available school hours and looking for a part-time (3 days) / permanent position
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
- Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
- Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing interventions for the school to improve and increase their pupil attainment and engagement levels
- Candidates need to show responsibility for their own learning as well as personal and professional development through experience, qualifications and trainings
- Candidates must be able to work as a team and individually
