The Role

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages (KS3–KS4/KS5 as appropriate)

  • Bring chemistry to life through practical experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications

  • Inspire students to think critically, ask questions, and develop a love for science

  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support and challenge learners of all abilities

  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations with confidence and clarity

  • Contribute to the development of an ambitious and forward-thinking science curriculum

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating laboratory environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and actively contribute to school life

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification (or is working towards one)

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for chemistry

  • Is creative, energetic, and committed to outstanding teaching and learning

  • Believes every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement

  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and passionate team

  • Is keen to continue developing professionally and trying new ideas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
