Unqualified Teacher - Graduate
Secondary School located in Nottingham
Starting ASAP
We are working with a number of schools in Nottingham who are currently looking to recruit confident and enthusiastic graduates who are considering a career in secondary teaching . As an unqualified teacher, you will cover lessons when teachers are absent across the school. What a fantastic and exciting opportunity!
You will be introduced to this role as an Unqualified Teacher through Teaching Personnel, who have a solid reputation within the Nottingham area.
From October, our client secondary schools in Nottingham are seeking the support from an unqualified teacher for classroom supervision cover on short notice for reasons such as; short term teacher sickness, internal training days and time away for planning and marking.
Highlights
- Unqualified Teacher required in Wigan (ideally a graduate looking at getting into teaching)
- Flexible, temporary work around your availability e.g. 1- 5 days a week
- Term time only
- Earning GBP57 - GBP70 a day, paid weekly!
- Working at a supportive and committed secondary school located just outside of Wigan town
centre
- Great way to gain classroom and behaviour management experience if considering secondary
teaching / teacher training
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable for the role
Role and Responsibilities of the Unqualified Teacher role:
- Update your availability diary online which allows us to know what days you are free for work
- Managing full classes when teachers of absent - confidence and behaviour management is
essential
- Delivering pre-set work from the school to a class of students and ensuring they remain on
task with this
- Get a feel of what it would be like to be a secondary school teacher, covering a range of KS3
and KS4 lessons (no subject knowledge required)
