Position: Unqualified Learning Support Assistant
School Type: SEN School catering to pupils aged 3 to 19
⌚ Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £89.38 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Learning Support Assistants to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school located in Ystrad Mynach. This particular provision caters for children from the age of 3 to 19, meaning the ideal candidate must be able to work throughout the key stages. The school have a long standing commitment to provide all of their pupils with the very best learning experiences as well as empowering them to make important decisions about future developments within the school.
Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning to students.

Provide 1:1 and small-group support during lessons and daily routines.

Encourage students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
-
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Assist with preparing and adapting learning materials.
-
Work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals.
Requirements:

No formal qualifications required.
-
Enchanced Child and Adult DBS (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain this)
- Safeguarding Level 2 (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
