We are currently seeking tutors to support pupils on a one to one basis. Your role as a tutor would be support these young people who are not currently in mainstream education.
This is because diagnosis of SEN or other needs such as Autism, Downs Syndrome or Epilepsy are either anew arrival to the area of are awaiting placement in a SEN school. Your role as the tutor would be to design fun and interactive activities to support these pupils’ progress and development.
The ideal tutor would have:

A Teaching Qualification

Evidence of making progress with hard to reach young people

A calm and patient manner
This tutor role is perfect for those:

Wanting teaching outside of a school environment

Wanting flexible yet rewarding work
You would need to undertake all necessary betting checks including a DBS on the Update Service and two recent references The young people will be based in the Tameside area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
