Job Title: Outreach Tutor

I am looking for educators in Tilbury, who are experienced in working with KS3 and KS4 students, in core academic subjects (English, Maths and Science). 

Salary:

Up to £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide one to one tutoring sessions to students (in English, Maths and Science)
• Create customised lesson plans based on students' working levels and interests
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Bridge gaps in learners knowledge and understanding, to bring them up to age expectations
• Help students develop effective study skills and exam strategies
• Provide feedback on students' performance, using our bespoke learning platform
• Work with learners with SEN and SEMH needs and tailor sessions towards these.

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with learners with SEN and SEMH needs
• Experience in teaching or tutoring KS3/4 level subjects
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
