Job Duties:

• Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and skills
• Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic development of students

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialist knowledge in GCSE English and Maths curriculum
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Proficient in using technology for educational purposes

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours with flexibility in schedule
• Work primarily in learners homes, local libraries or schools
• Travel to different locations within the East of England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
