1:1 Tutor – Primary & Secondary Students

Hours: Flexible, during school hours

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support Primary and Secondary students across Hinckley and the surrounding areas. Tuition sessions will be delivered either in pupils' homes or within school settings during school hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers and experienced educators who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through personalised learning and targeted academic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Plan and adapt lessons in line with the student's ability, learning style, and educational goals.
• Support students with core subjects, exam preparation, confidence building, and study skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback where required.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with students, parents/carers, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Primary or Secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Experience supporting students with a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire learners.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel within the Hinckley area.
