SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a supportive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support within the classroom. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
