We’re looking for committed SEN Tutors in Christchurch to deliver one-to-one tuition that supports students with additional needs. This is your chance to work in a more flexible, rewarding environment where you can focus on the individual—not the classroom.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time or full-time)

Your Role

You’ll play a vital role in helping students reconnect with learning, tailoring each session to suit their abilities and goals.

  • Deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Create a calm, structured, and encouraging learning environment
  • Help students build confidence and re-engage with education
  • Provide tuition in home or community-based settings

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, etc.)
  • Comfortable teaching English and maths at a core level
  • Able to travel locally within Christchurch
  • Patient, understanding, and adaptable in your approach
  • Strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
