Be the Support That Changes a Student’s Path

TP Tutors is expanding its presence in Christchurch and is looking for dedicated SEN Tutors to provide personalised, one-to-one support for students with additional needs. If you’re passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and rediscover confidence in learning, this role offers flexibility and real impact.

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available

What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with learners who benefit from tailored educational approaches, supporting them academically while nurturing their confidence and independence.

  • Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one sessions
  • Adapt learning strategies to suit individual needs (including ASC, ADHD, SEMH)
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students and families
  • Encourage motivation, resilience, and a love of learning
  • Provide sessions in home or local community settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people (formal or informal)
  • Ability to teach core subjects with confidence
  • Based locally or able to travel within the area
  • Patient, understanding, and dependable
  • Strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
