SEN Tutor Opportunities in Bournemouth

TP Tutors is currently recruiting committed and skilled tutors in Bournemouth to deliver personalised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs.

This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly while making a meaningful difference in learners’ academic progress and personal development.

Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
Position: SEN Tutor

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons in Maths and/or English
  • Provide support for students with a range of needs, including SEMH and autism
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet each learner’s unique requirements
  • Establish a supportive, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Promote both educational achievement and confidence-building

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • Strong lesson planning and delivery skills
  • Based locally or able to travel within the Bournemouth area
  • A patient, dependable, and understanding approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive educational practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
