Empower Young Minds – SEN Tutors Needed in Bournemouth

Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? We’re looking for dedicated SEN Tutors in Bournemouth to deliver personalised learning that truly makes a difference.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

About the Role

You will provide one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner’s individual needs, helping them overcome challenges and build both academic skills and self-confidence in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions
  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning styles
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Monitor, track, and review student progress

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in education, tutoring, or SEN support
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Ability to travel within the Bournemouth area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
