Job description

Support Young Learners to Succeed

Are you motivated to help young people with Special Educational Needs reach their full potential? TP Tutors is currently recruiting dedicated tutors in Bournemouth to deliver personalised 1:1 and small group sessions in Maths and English.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in education, youth support, or SEND who want to make a meaningful difference.

Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Specialist roles available)
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

About the Role

Provide engaging, individualised tuition tailored to each learner’s needs
Support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Create a structured, encouraging learning environment
Deliver sessions within home or community settings
Help students develop confidence, independence, and academic progress

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
Ability to teach Maths and/or English
Based in Bournemouth or able to travel locally
A calm, adaptable, and empathetic approach
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
