Job description

Empower Students Through Individual Support

TP Tutors is currently looking for committed and empathetic tutors in Bournemouth to deliver personalised Maths and English tuition to students with Special Educational Needs.

If you’re passionate about supporting young people and want a flexible role where you can have a genuine impact, this opportunity could be ideal.

Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Specialist roles available)
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deliver tailored lessons to suit individual learning needs
  • Work with students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs
  • Create a safe, consistent, and engaging learning environment
  • Provide tuition in homes or community-based settings
  • Support learners in building confidence and achieving progress

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English at primary or secondary level
  • Based in Bournemouth or able to travel locally
  • A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
