Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? We’re looking for committed SEN Tutors in Bournemouth to deliver personalised, one-to-one support that empowers students to succeed both academically and personally.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll support learners who benefit from a tailored approach, creating engaging sessions that build confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver individualised learning programmes
  • Support a range of additional educational needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each learner
  • Encourage independence and self-confidence
  • Monitor progress and adapt sessions as needed

About You

  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or SEN support
  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding practices
  • Based in or able to travel around Bournemouth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
