Travel Lecturer (Full-Time)
Location: Northampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Temporary until October 2025 (with the potential to be extended)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel Lecturer to join our Post-16 team in Northampton. This is a full-time temporary position starting in September, initially until October, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and assess engaging lessons in Travel and Tourism, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for Post-16 learners.

Equip students with the industry knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours needed for progression into employment or further study.

Contribute to curriculum development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to enhance teaching and learning.

Provide effective feedback, support and pastoral care to ensure student achievement and success.
Essential Requirements:

A recognised qualification in Travel and Tourism or a related subject (minimum Level 3; degree desirable).

Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Relevant industry experience within the travel and tourism sector.
-
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to supporting learners to reach their potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced travel and tourism professional or an aspiring lecturer to inspire and prepare the next generation of industry specialists.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
