A vibrant, state of the art, Primary School located in the heart of Kirkby is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team of educators this October. This is an exciting opportunity to secure long-term work in a supportive school environment, make a meaningful impact on young learners, and gain valuable classroom experience.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
• Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management, promoting a calm and productive learning environment.
• Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons, helping to prepare resources and activities.
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere that encourages pupil growth and confidence.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• Be a confident communicator who works well as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
• Be enthusiastic, patient, and supportive, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Be willing to complete additional CPDs to gain valuable knowledge for schools
