Teaching Personnel are currently supporting a lively and diverse Primary SEN School located in Crawley, this amazing provision caters for Early Years - Year 6 aged pupils with generic special needs such as autism, severe learning difficulties, mobility needs and associated behavioural needs.
The school’s goal is to make learning accessible for pupils; tailoring lessons/activities to pupils’ interests and abilities – Lessons are designed to be super engaging and fun; You can expect a lot of arts and crafts, music and dancing and outside/messy play.
Due to the pupils needs, successful candidate will be physically fit and able to keep up with pupils who may or may not try to make a swift escape! If you find working sat at a desk or on a shop floor underwhelming; This is an opportunity which will not only keep you active but also make a huge impact in the lives of pupils with special needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting an experienced Teacher in providing activities and lessons for pupils
- Ensuring lessons are super engaging and fun
- Providing personal care where required (Requirement)
- Getting stuck in and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive
- Helping set up/tidy the classroom
- Liaising with parents, external professionals and fellow team members as required
- Following the Schools behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times
- Building amazing relationships with pupils and fellow team members
- Striving to make a difference, every day
Details:
- Daily Rate: £96 per day
- Hours: 8:30 – 15:45, Monday – Friday (Non-Negotiable)
- Contract: Temp to perm; move over to the school’s contract after a successful probationary period

- Requirements: Enhanced child only DBS (or willing to apply), 24 months of references, Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
