A welcoming and supportive specialist school in Worthing is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its Primary Phase team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to thrive both academically and personally in a nurturing environment.
The Role
You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with additional needs, both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one support. The role involves helping pupils access learning, encouraging independence, supporting communication and social development, and promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Works well as part of a team
- Is adaptable and willing to learn
- Has good communication skills
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
