Immediate School Support Needed - Peak Spring Demand

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to support primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire during the busy Spring term. With increased staff absence and short-term cover needs, schools require reliable and adaptable individuals who can step into classrooms at short notice. These roles are ideal for individuals seeking flexible work, those between roles, or anyone looking to gain further experience across a variety of school settings. Experience within schools is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applicants with transferable skills from care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring, customer service, or leadership roles.

Your Role

• Support pupils 1:1, in small groups, or whole-class (role dependent)
• Assist with learning, engagement and behaviour management
• Deliver or supervise pre-set work when covering lessons
• Maintain a calm, safe and structured classroom environment
• Adapt confidently to different schools and year groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
