Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant – Behaviour & SEMH

Flexible Day-to-Day Opportunities

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire & surrounding areas
Pay: £100 – £135 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible, short-term, or long-term assignments

 

Make a Difference Supporting Behaviour & SEMH Pupils

Teaching Personnel are seeking confident and adaptable individuals to support secondary and primary schools working with pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviours.

You’ll provide supervision, classroom support, and positive role modelling, helping pupils engage and learn in a safe and structured environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support classroom management and engagement

  • Assist pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviours

  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Provide flexible day-to-day cover across subjects and year groups

  • Maintain a positive and structured learning environment

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Confident, calm, and proactive

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable

  • Experience working with young people (teaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar)

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
