Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in an SEN provision?
If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with an SEN School in the Nelson area which caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs including; PMLD, Autism, ADHD, Behavioural Difficulties, Downs Syndrome and Physical Disabilities. The School is larger than average for an SEN School and currently has approximately 120 pupils on roll.
The School is based in the Nelson area and pupils in the school are predominantly between 11-18 years old. The candidate must be experienced in working with pupils with special educational needs. The candidate must be willing to work with pupils who require personal care.
The role will start on an ad-hoc basis and the it is due to become a longer time, full time role.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
* Negotiable pay rates £50.44 - 55 per day
* Long term position available
* Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
