Teaching Assistant required in Northampton Primary School

Job description

Our client school, a larger than average local authority school has a number of additional needs pupils and seeks to support these pupils within the mainstream environment in an inclusive manner. As such this school is constantly seeking well experienced qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of needs on a one to one basis.

If you have experience supporting behavioral difficulties, Autism (ASC), mild learning difficulties (MLD) or are experienced in providing personal care for primary aged pupils this school could benefit from your skills so if you have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in a mainstream setting, we want to hear from you!

The role will involve supporting young people, on a 1:1 basis as well as sometimes performing interventions for the individual pupil or even small groups, both in and outside of the classroom.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
