The Role:
We are looking for a caring, calm, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support children who may need extra help to engage with learning, manage their emotions, and develop confidence and independence. This role may include:

  • Providing gentle, consistent support to children with SEN, one-to-one or in small groups.
  • Assisting with personal care when required, always with dignity and respect.
  • Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour, using patience, empathy, and positive strategies.
  • Helping implement individual learning plans and supporting their progress.
  • Celebrating achievements and encouraging children to feel proud of their successes.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a naturally calm, nurturing, and patient approach.
  • Enjoys working closely with children and helping them thrive.
  • Is confident supporting children with challenging behaviour in a positive, consistent way.
  • Can provide personal care respectfully and professionally.
  • Is a team player with strong communication skills.
  • Has full time availability, working Monday - Friday, term time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
