Learning Mentor
Do you have a passion for helping students learn and achieve their goals?
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity this October?
If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Mentor to work in our client's secondary school in Leyland. As a Learning Mentor no day will be the same, making the job interesting and exciting. You will be working with a range of different students, working in a number of different roles such as;
- General classroom assistance
- One to one and small group tuition
- Supporting students with special education needs
- Behaviour support
- Supporting the school transition of year 7 students
With the new academic year approaching, the Head Teacher at our client's secondary school is recruiting a Learning Mentor. They are looking for a Learning Mentor to support their students in October, adding extra support helping the students settle back in from the summer holidays. The Learning Mentor role will start off as a temporary position with the opportunity for you to gain a permanent contract.
The ideal Learning Mentor will;
- Have previous experience supporting secondary school students
- Be a graduate and have a good general knowledge on the main core subjects
- Have a passion for teaching and want to help students achieve their academic goals
- Be able to commit to a full time role
The secondary school looking to recruit a Learning Mentor is located in the centre of Leyland, with public transport links close by making it easy to access. Being a high achieving school, with excellent sporting facilities, this is a great opportunity for a Learning Mentor to work at and grow in your teaching career.
