Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to work in a school setting through Teaching Personnel.

This role is suitable for a passionate educator who can inspire students and bring history to life across KS3/KS4/KS5. You will be supported throughout your placement by the Teaching Personnel team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with school staff and Teaching Personnel consultants

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in History

  • Experience teaching in a UK school setting (preferred)

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to complete safeguarding checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
