Teaching Assistant - Year 1

Teaching Personnel are working with a Mainstream Primary school in North Liverpool, who are actively recruiting for a full time 1-1 Teaching Assistant; to work with a student in Year 1 with autistic needs. The school is located in the Crosby area of Liverpool, and the role is set to start from September 2020 until May 2021. The pupil is working at a lower level, and requires help with their subject learning and behaviour management throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviour, and experience holding interventions and de escalating difficult situations.

You will be supported by the school SENCO, who believes inclusion across the school is essential to ensure all children are achieving the best to their ability. 

The Role:

• GBP285 -GBP350 per week earnings.
• Crosby Area
• Year 1, Key Stage 1
• Monday - Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Parking on site
• Easily accessible by public transport 

The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
