Teaching Personnel are working with a Preston based Pupil Referral Unit who are seeking TWO TEACHING ASSISTANTS for the new academic year!

The School caters for KS3 / 4 pupils who struggle to remain in mainstream education and often display challenging behaviours.

A number of the pupils on roll at this school have additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, ODD and Learning Difficulties.

Candidates applying for this role must be confident when working with difficult behaviours yet remain empathetic towards the needs of the pupils.

The roles are for two full time, Teaching Assistant Level 3's (however, the school will consider candidates who don't necessarily have their level 3). The school hours are Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 3.30pm and candidates must be able to commit to these hours.

The role is long term, until Christmas 2020 initially with a view to arrange a temporary - permanent contract for the right candidate(s).

The role would suit a candidate who has ideally come from a background in working with pupils who can be challenging in their behaviours; candidates who have their Team Teach qualification will also be favoured, but this is not essential.

Pay for this role will be between GBP65 - 75 per day and your start date would be 1st September 2020.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
