Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working extremely close with an SEN school in the Nottinghamshire area of NG5. 

The school cater from students from Nursery through to Post 16 with a range of SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. The School is separated into an upper and lower school sites, allowing the students to learn and experience the transition between primary and secondary schools, however still maintaining consistency in the learning style and familiarity of staff. The school tailors each class to the specific needs of each student and look for staff that will encourage positive attitudes.

We are looking for people that are looking for flexible work and that can be available at least 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate: 

• Experience working with a range of SEN such as Autism, PMLD and Complex Needs 
• Comfortable working with a variety of age groups 
• Able to work on both a 1:1 basis and a small group basis
• Knowledge and Experience in Makaton and PECs 
• Have a very nurturing and supportive style to education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
