Teaching Assistant

North West London

You will be required to work closely on a 1:1 basis with KS1 pupils. You may also be required to work in small groups with the majority of the focus being KS1 Maths and Literacy. This position will be a challenging but highly rewarding role.

The Ideal candidate

- Experience with Autism would be desirable.

- Needs to be proactive, empathetic, engaging and creative. You will have an understanding and flexible nature and

- Be confident and passionate in assisting children with autism and behaviour disorders to access the curriculum.

-Having positive handling training and Team Teach would be an advantage but not necessary as all staff gain training throughout the role.

The School

The Primary School is located in Wembley , a 'good' school with a real community feel to it. Close to Wembley park station and surrounded by multiple bus routes.
