Experienced Year 2 Teacher in Blackpool (FY1)

Are you an experienced and fully qualified Year 2 teacher with a passion for education and a proven track record of raising attainment? Do you have a solid understanding of phonics schemes and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment for young learners? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Position: Experienced Year 2 Teacher

Location: Blackpool (FY1)

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary

Start Date: September 2024.

End Date: July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Year 2 curriculum and phonics schemes.

- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to facilitate academic growth.

- Utilize various teaching methodologies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to contribute to the overall development of the school and its educational programs.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience in teaching Year 2 students.

- Proven success in raising attainment levels and achieving positive learning outcomes.

- Thorough knowledge and experience in implementing phonics schemes effectively.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.

- Demonstrated dedication to professional development and a commitment to ongoing improvement in teaching practice.

Salary:

The daily pay rate for this role is £140-£160, which may be subject to change after the 12-week qualifying period as per the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
