Job description

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wiltshire

Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs? A welcoming SEN primary school in Wiltshire is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing team.

 

About the Role:

  • Support pupils aged 4–11 with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create inclusive learning experiences
  • Help pupils build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in or out of an educaional setting)
  • A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
