Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Wiltshire
Salary: £13.75 an hour
Start Date: Immediate

 

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our schools supportive team. This role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities, supporting their learning, development, and well-being within the classroom and beyond!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, both 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Support pupils with personal care needs, where required.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND needs, in or out of an educational setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
  • Relevant qualifications are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
