A friendly and supportive primary school in Salford is partnering with Teaching Personnel to recruit a proactive, caring, and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing targeted one-to-one and small‑group support
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and follow‑up tasks
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEND and EAL
• Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for supporting learning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
