Full-Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant (KS3 & KS4) – Maternity Cover

Start Date: November 3rd, 2025
Contract: 1 Year (Maternity Leave Cover)
Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming secondary school team in Preston, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a supportive and vibrant learning environment, working alongside experienced educators to help pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted classroom support to students and teachers across KS3 & KS4

• Assist in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

• Support students with a range of needs, including those with SEND

• Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

• Participate in school activities, meetings, and training as required

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils is highly desirable

• A proactive, flexible, and caring approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
